Are You Nailing Your PITCH?

Are You Nailing Your PITCH? The most popular question asked at a network meeting, sales meeting and of most business professionals is "What do you do?" At some network meetings like Business Networking International?, FemFessionals?, or other major networking events, attendees are asked to stand up and give a 30 Second Pitch. Although this is an expected activity every week, the thought of those 30 Seconds strikes fear in the heart of many.

Imagine that you are in a networking meeting and you hear a person get up and babble for 30 Seconds (usually they go on for much longer). What do you think about them? What do you think about their business? How much confidence do you have in their product? We asked networking attendees these questions and the answers were clear.

The Best Way to Invest In Currency

The Best Way to Invest In Currency Last weekend after attending our annual financial summit in Las Vegas I realized a couple of things.

1. Just about everyone wants to invest in currencies as a hedge and to add real diversification to their portfolios.

2. A very small percentage of the investing community really knows how to do it.

Precious metals and the currency are flying around the news just as much as the presidential election that is beginning to heat up. But unlike pulling a lever at election time, investing in the currency markets can be much more difficult and even dangerous if you don't know what you are doing.

If you do know your way around the currency markets, you can tap into markets that have returned an average of over 75% during the past nine years.

In this article, I'll show you a simple, cheap and stable technique to invest in currency. But let's look at the mechanics first.

Long Term Passive Income: The Path That Leads to Financial Freedom

Long Term Passive Income: The Path That Leads to Financial Freedom Are you ready to give up on clocking ridiculous hours for minimal pay? Unfortunately, that's how most employment works. Pay is based on how much time you dedicate to your job. Even people who work for themselves are paid based on how much they sell or how much work they have actually put in. By now, you may have heard of something called "long term passive income". If not, here's your introduction.

Long term passive income is revenue that flows on a continuous basis by work that is done just once. Working from home, most of your effort will come in during the first few weeks or months; as you set up your business. Afterwards, there is very little required from you on a daily basis. There are numerous business options when you are considering long term passive income.

Promotional Metal Pens For High End Giveaways

Promotional Metal Pens For High End Giveaways Because pens have quite a universal appeal and flexibility, most businesses prefer to use them for promotional giveaways. With promotional metal pens, you get the chance to advertise to a wide audience for a very minimal investment but with pens that are of great quality. Promotional metal pens will accord your recipients a high end appeal but at an affordable cost to you. Metal pens are much stronger and will last much longer this giving longer life to your promotional campaign.

The advantage with metal pens is that they have a better look because of the metal that has been used to manufacture them and this attractive feature makes them wonderful for advertising purposes. These pens also have another advantage in that they can be refilled. Because of that they can be used for much longer and this gives advertising a platform that can be used for much longer. Metal pens are lighter and this makes them portable, a quality that will endear to the recipients who you present them with.

Who Needs to Figure Out Currency Conversion?

Who Needs to Figure Out Currency Conversion? Currency conversion is figuring out the value of one country's currency against that of another. Many people need to know what the currency conversion rates are. For instance, if you are going on an overseas holiday, you would want to know how much your money would be worth in the currency of the country to which you are going. This will allow you to set your budget and know you will have enough money for the holiday, rather than risk running out before you get home.

You may set aside a portion of your money for accommodation and another portion for food. You would allot a certain amount for shopping for gifts or for doing the activities that you like. Another part of your budget may be for transport to and from the destination and for internal travel costs. Unless you know exactly how much your money is worth in the national currency you may find yourself having to cut short your holiday.

Give 'Em the Chair

Give 'Em the Chair Here's a great technique for all managers, supervisors, and anyone who has to confront a subordinate for inappropriate or less than a superlative performance. I call it "Giving 'em the chair." It works like this.

You call the would-be offender into your office and exchange the initial pleasantries and establish a modicum of rapport and you start out with something like "I have a problem and I was wondering if I could ask you to help me figure something out." Notice we haven't blamed anyone or told him he has a problem, yet. The usual response is that the candidate will lower his guard and be more than willing to help you and the team. Then proceed to let him peek behind the curtain. Tell him you have been having an issue with an employee, don't say too much, keep it light and immediately segue and ask him to sit in your chair. Ask it as a favor. "Would you do me a favor, this will really help me, please sit in my chair for a moment, no really, please." After the initial reluctance he will settle into the chair. Then ask him in a jesting way, "Whudyathink, it's a nice chair, huh?"
