Everyone nowadays would seem to do a great deal of shopping through the internet, because of this the use of bubble wrap has increased tremendously. Anyone who shops online will notice that their items will usually arrive in some form of protective packaging, we all take it for granted that this packaging will be readily available. But how many people actually know the origins of bubble wrap?

This transparent plastic that gets used to pack fragile items for delivery is amazing. It is a flexible plastic sheeting that is covered in hundreds of little bubbles of air. Sometimes people will sit and relieve their stress by simply popping the bubbles, I know I do.
