Some Things To Adjust On Your Pocket Folders

Some Things To Adjust On Your Pocket Folders Printing cheap pocket folders is sometimes needed, especially if you are in a business or part of a project that needs to cut cost. You should realize however, that going at this cheaply is not as simple as you may think. Cheap pocket folders will typically be less effective, and if you have a big goal set for these prints, you are more likely to fail than to succeed.

So let me tell you about some of the things I hate about cheap pocket folders. With these facts, I am hoping I can convince you to adjust your cheap options and produce something a bit more decent but still affordable for folder printing.

1. The limited size.

I hate small pocket folders. They are severely limited in what they can actually carry. You might even need to fold your other materials just to fit them in these cheap and small folders. If you are using these for marketing or for special office functions, you will expect to of course need more folders since they cannot fit all the material that you need. So if you can print normal sized folders, it might be better really. You might actually spend more if those cheap ones cannot do their job well.

2. The generalized pockets.

Another feature that I do not like with folders are those generalized pockets. Since you will be using very basic stuff here, most pocket folder printers just slop in general pockets that should be typically fit anything that you want to store in those folders.

The problem with this is that some of your materials will undoubtedly go loose and be misaligned. Once transported, the materials inside have a high chance of becoming messed up. This is a no-no for folders meant for special marketing. That is why you should be wary of going cheap too much with folders and being too general with those pockets.

3. The quick deterioration.

Of course, I also hate the fact that folders deteriorate quickly. In the quest for cheap pocket folders, the material aspect of the print is sacrificed. Using those thin and uncoated rough paper typically shortens the lifespan of the folder itself.

In fact, most cheap pocket folders will not last the first month after they are printed. For long term kinds of campaigns or goals, those folders will not really work particularly good, and you will just be wasting money actually producing them.

4. The lackluster colors.

Cheap folders typically have lackluster colors. This is probably because the inks used in them are old, or are just particularly cheap that they fade quickly. This means that the design of these folders is not particularly eye-catching, leading to unremarkable and even sad looking folders.

I do not want that, and I assume you also do not want that kind of colors in your own pocket folders. So try to not sacrifice the ink quality too much in cheap pocket folder printing. It is pretty important to not sacrifice it.

5. The lower response rates.

Finally, you get low response rates. For marketing folders, that is BAD news. That is why I tend to veer away from getting too cheap with my marketing folders really. I spend a bit more on research and testing for pocket folders, just to make sure that I get designs just a bit right. It is better to have folders that work and attract people than cheap folders that are useless.

So? Do you think printing cheap pocket folders is worth it? Review and see if this kind of printing is really for you.
